How YourBooks Works ?

With YourBooks, you can bid farewell to tedious bookkeeping and accounting hassles. Our intuitive interface and powerful features make it easy to manage your invoices, track expenses, and gain valuable insights into your financial performance.

How to Access YourBooks ?

To access YourBooks, you’ll have to sign up for the free 14-day trial period during which you can test the product for free. The free trial version of  YourBooks contains all the features in the Premium plan of YourBooks. If you are already a registered user, then you can directly log in to YourBooks.

Our Plans

After your free trial expires, you can subscribe to any one of the paid plans to continue using YourBooks.

How to Migrate from Tally to YourBooks ?

Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first and the most important page that you will see when you log in to YourBooks. This is the cerebrum of your finances. Here you get a clear picture of the financial health of your business.

Let's Have a look at various sections which you can interact with on your Dashboard.

Date Selection

.Here you can choose for which date you want to see the Financial status.

Just click on the Drop-down button and select which month you want to check. 

Invoice/Sales

Here you can see all your total invoice and sales

Expenses/Purchase

Here you can see your total Expenses & Purchases.

Quotations

Here you can see all your Quotations at once

Finance Graph

Here is the Graphical representation of your Finances.
This data is generated and populated based on your total invoices, payments and expenses.

Goals

You can setup your goals for various aspects of your finance with our Goals feature and Monitor your goals anytime on the dashboard.

To setup your goals go to Settings > click on Fixed Expenses/Target.
Once you land on Fixed Expenses page you can fill up your Expenses & Targets.

Last Month Comparison

Here you can anytime compare your finances and check its overall status to know how your business is doing.

Tax Status

Here you can get a clear picture your current tax liabilities. 

Pie Charts to Represent your Different Financial aspects like Invoices, Expenses Payment & Quotations.

Now that you are familiar with the Dashboard lets dig deep in your Left Side Menu.

The Side Menu Empowers you with various tools that will assist you in managing your Finances.

Now let dig deep and start by 

Making a Quotation first.

Click on the Quotation Tab > Create Quotation > this will land you on the quotation page.

 

Fill Up all the required Data Fields.

  1. Select Quotation Date.
  2. Choose your Quotation Type.
  3. Select the Company name for whom you want to create quotation.
  4. Check Quotation no. nd change if required.
  5. This information will be displayed here automatically and can be edited if required.
  6. Choose the Bank in which you want to  receive the payment. You can choose Payment by Cash if you are being paid in cash, also your same quotation can be converted into Performa Invoice by checking the box.
    Choose the Quotation type on basis of which type of Quotation is required i.e. Service or Product
  7.  Fill up other important details such as Description of the product, Quantity, Cost, GST Applied, HSN No. & Discount.
  8. You can add instructions related to the payment for the client as      special instructions.
  9. Once your Quotation is ready you can either preview it for any correction or Download, Mail it to the registered mail address.

Now let's Create Invoice

Click on the Invoice tab > Click Create Invoice.

Once we land on Create invoice page we need to fill all the required details

Recurring Invoice

A recurring invoice is an invoice sent to the same customer at regular intervals. The invoice details remain the same each time. Recurring invoices are usually sent weekly or monthly.

Payments

You can access and  manage status of all your Sales and Purchase via Payments.

Purchase Order

A Purchase Order is an official document that a buyer issues to a seller indicating information about the items they want to buy, their quantities, and their prices.
